Homemade cranberry sauce is a treat, and definitely deserves a spot on your holiday table.

Directions
Start by pealing your ginger, and give it a rough chop (it’ll be removed later). Add your remaning ingredients to a pot, and cook on medium heat until the cranberries soften and break down a bit. You can also add a bit of water if you like, but the orange juice and rum, along with the juice from the canberries, should be enough liquid. When the sauce has reached the consistency that you like, remove the ginger and cloves, and let the sauce cool.
You could serve this warm if you like, and if you’d like it to set up a bit more, you can cool it completely in the refrigerator.
