Cranberry Apple Sauce
This is a simple version of cranberry sauce that can be made a day or two ahead (it’s actually better the next day).

Directions
Start by adding diced and peeled apples to a saucepan, along with your cranberries. Add your wine, and water, along with cinnamon and nutmeg, and bring it to a simmer.
Once it’s simmering, cover it, and cook it at a gentle simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove it from the heat, and use a potato masher to lightly mash everything (leaving chunks throughout).
Transfer the sauce to a bowl, then mix in your honey, and serve warm or cold.
