Fennel Mint and Cardamom Tea

This is a simple, aromatic tea.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Fennel Seeds

  • 6-7 Green Cardamom Pods

  • Fresh Mint

  • Lemon or Lime (optional)

  • Honey (optional)

Directions

Lightly smash your fennel and cardamom with a knife, or your hand. Then, add them to a sauce pan, along with 4 cups of water.

Bring the water to a simmer, then turn off the heat, add a sprig of mint, cover, and let steep for 5-10 minutes.

Once the tea has steeped strain it into a pot, or cups, and optionally add honey and lemon (or lime).
