So, dinner is a few hours away. You’ve managed to pacify your guests with wine and cocktails, but they’re hungry now, and there’s an unruly electricity in the air. You sense that a mutiny could quite possibly ensue.

These crostini are a quick and delicious holiday appetizer that go great with a glass of wine, and will help you avoid a revolt in your kitchen.

  • Bread (wheat bread pictured)

  • Brie

  • Cranberry sauce

  • Capers

  • Olive oil

Directions

Starty by sautéing slices of bread in a bit of olive oil (or toast them in the oven). Then just add slices of brie, a bit of cranberry sauce, and finish with capers. It’s super simple and they taste great.
